- In Walton County 68% of 3rd graders read at grade level
- In both Okaloosa (3.8%) & Walton (3.7%) County the unemployment rate has increased
The Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast is now accepting applications from local businesses to Read Together!
The goal of the Read Together literacy initiative is to encourage families to read at home, prioritize the importance of work-life harmony in our community, promote literacy for all and support children’s lifelong success by increasing our community’s access to free children’s books.
